Quiet Rebellion

Not all revolutions are loud.

In Quiet Rebellion, the familiar becomes startling—a zebra draped in expected black-and-white stripes breaks form mid-body, blooming into unpredictable waves of color. Calm on the surface, radical in spirit, the work plays with the tension between conformity and identity, visibility and voice.

The zebra’s gaze is unshaken, almost meditative—aware of its rebellion, but not asking for permission. Behind it, a modernist window grid frames the world with logic and order—only to be fractured by this creature’s gentle defiance.

Is it protest? Is it joy? Is it evolution?

This piece is for those who never fit the mold, who carry their colors beneath the surface until one day… they don’t.
